Tourism Central Australia is proud to host the 2026 Central Australian Tourism Exchange (CATE) in Alice Springs. CATE is a key tourism trade event that brings together operators, distribution partners, frontline staff, and industry stakeholders to explore and promote the best of Central Australia’s visitor experiences.

This year, Tourism Central Australia is partnering with the Australian Tourism Export Council to bring 30+ buyers into the region, to create a powerful opportunity to connect, strengthen trade relationships, and expand market reach. The refreshed 2026 format will feature a dynamic program of networking events, product showcases, and immersive experiences highlighting the region’s unique tourism offerings.

Plus! Exciting news! This year, we will be launching our first ever Central Australian Travel Expo, which will provide operators with an opportunity to showcase their products and experiences to locals and travellers visiting on the day.
