TCA are proud to announce the introduction of the Central Australia Tourism Exchange (CATE) to the tourism calendar. The Central Australia Tourism Exchange, also known as CATE, is a tourism exchange event designed to give operators the opportunity to showcase their products to a wide range of stakeholders, including distribution partners, local frontline staff, and key players in tourism. CATE will prioritise giving operators a voice in a one-on-one information sharing session (similar to speed dating) and will be a great opportunity for you to promote your business products to the industry.
What is CATE?
CATE is a fast-paced tourism exchange event that facilitates exhibitors to showcase their latest products directly to key participators in the Northern Territory Tourism sector.
When you attend CATE, you’ll engage in one-on-one information sharing sessions. These sessions are fast-paced 8-minute presentations from each exhibitor delivered directly to industry leaders and is a prime opportunity to promote your business to key stakeholders.
For tourism operators this is a unique opportunity to showcase your products, share information about your business, establish new contacts, and experience the unity of Central Australia's tourism sector as we kick off 2024.
This is an opportunity for you to share information about your business with all the Alice Springs Visitor Information Centre staff, TCA Volunteers, key distribution partners, Tourism Australia, the Australian Tourism Export Council and invited front line staff. We expect to attract between 100 and 150 guests to this networking night. Let them know key details about your business, what you are planning to do this year and any relevant operational information.
CATE is poised to capture a wide range of attendees on this networking night as many will be attending the Tourism Towards 2030 Conference which is being held the following day.
Feel free to bring a pull up banner and make sure you have plenty of brochures and business cards.
