How to use your Territory Tourism Voucher!

How the vouchers work!

The fourth round works the same as the third round. Your voucher is redeemable dollar-for-dollar up to $200 when you book through our website, This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it., or in store at either the Alice Springs or Tennant Creek Visitor Information Centre. If you travel 400km or more one-way from your permanent residence with your booking, you can get an optional, bonus claim reimbursement of up to $200 dollar-for-dollar.

So you got a voucher, now what? Once you receive your voucher you will have 14 days to make your booking through a Visitor Information Centre (either online, This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or instore). All activities on your booking must be completed by the 31st of January 2022. See the How To videos below for help on making a booking.

If you missed out on getting a voucher make sure you still register, so that you can get on the waitlist to potentially receive a voucher at the end of the scheduled voucher releases.

How to apply for your bonus claim.

  • If you want to claim the bonus reimbursement you must do so within 7 days of receiving your booking confirmation.
  • You must travel a minimum of 400km one-way away from your place of residence to be eligible for the bonus claim reimbursement.
  • 400km is calculated from place of residence to each bookable tour/activity/accommodation via shortest route on Google Maps, as part of one sequential trip, NOT including the trip home. Please keep proof of travel including receipts. If you go on a tour/scenic flight with your voucher, the travel of the tour/flight may be eligible to contribute to your overall distance travelled, to boost your total travel up to/over 400km.
  • When claiming the bonus reimbursement you will need to provide: Name, Phone number, and Email address that you used when registering for the vouchers, proof of residence (matching registration address), Voucher number, Itinerary number, Payment/Confirmation date, Total Cost of booking, Bank details, and Travel end date.
  • The reimbursement will be made post travel, if successful. This is made to you by the NT government, with all bonus claim submissions being decided by the Tourism NT Voucher Team.
  • To claim your bonus travel reimbursement see here.

  • At the checkout, add your voucher number to 'Promo/Voucher Code'. You can add up to 10 vouchers per booking. You will see the discount applied across all products in your cart.
  • Once you have added your voucher(s) you can continue by adding your personal details and process the payment. Please note that the personal details used on the booking MUST match the details used when registering for the voucher.
  • Voucher must be redeemed within 14 days of receiving it. All travel must be completed by January 31, 2022. Must be redeemed through either Alice Springs, Tennant Creek, Katherine or Darwin Visitor Information Centre's - online or in store.

I booked an 'on request' product, what does that mean?

  • An 'on request' booking simply means that the Visitor Centre staff have to confirm with the operator if the product is available, before we can confirm your booking.
  • The booking must still be completed within 14 days to claim the voucher, however the booking confirmation and any consumer/operator correspondence can be finalised after the 14 days.
  • In any situation where the operator says the product is unavailable, you will be able to work with the Visitor Centre staff to arrange the next best date/option for you.
