Uluru-kata Tjuta Signature Walk

DEPOSIT: Bookings are not confirmed until a deposit of $500 per person has been received (within 5 working days of bookings being made), if the booking is made more than 180 days prior to departure (for Uluṟu-Kata Tjuṯa Walks). For Reservations made 180 days or less from departure date (for Uluṟu-Kata Tjuṯa Walks), full payment is due at the time of booking.

FINAL PAYMENT: The balance of the booking price is payable to the Company at least 180 days prior to departure (for Uluṟu-Kata Tjuṯa Walks).

Once the required deposit has been paid, any subsequent discounts or price reductions that are advertised by the Company or any third party will not be applied retrospectively.

Cancellation by Guest

The date of cancellation is the date that the Company receives written notice of the cancellation.

• if the cancellation is made more than 180 days from departure (for Uluṟu-Kata Tjuṯa Walks), a fee of $350 per person will be charged.
• for cancellations made between 180 and 150 days prior to departure (for Uluṟu-Kata Tjuṯa Walks), a fee of 50% of full price will be charged.
• For cancellations within and including 150 days of departure (for Uluṟu-Kata Tjuṯa Walks), no refund is available.

Cancellation by the guest will also take effect if:

• the guest fails to arrive at the pre-arranged meeting place at the time stipulated by the Company; or
• payment of the balance of the booking is not received by the Company by the required time as stipulated in condition 5.

No refund will be paid if the guest:

• voluntarily leaves the walk after it has commenced. No refund will be paid if the guest needs to leave the walk for reasons of bereavement, injury or illness; or
• are directed by the Company to leave or not commence your walk in accordance with these terms and conditions.

We strongly recommend that all guests obtain suitable travel insurance.

The Company reserves the right to not provide a refund if the guest arrives on the day of departure for any walk with inappropriate footwear and are unable to join the walk (please refer to condition 12)

Booking Amendment by Guest

If the guest wishes to change the booking, you must notify the Tasmanian Walking Company in writing as soon as possible. Once notice has been received and confirmed by Tasmanian Walking Company, the change will take effect subject to the following:

• one amendment can be made to the original booking outside of 180 days from departure (for Uluṟu-Kata Tjuṯa Walks), at no cost.
• a $200 per person fee will be charged for any further amendments made by a guest 180 days prior to the departure date (for Uluṟu-Kata Tjuṯa Walks).
• for booking changes made between 150-180 days from departure (for Uluṟu-Kata Tjuṯa Walks), there is a $350 fee to change the departure date;
• we do not accept changes to bookings within 150 days of departure (150 days for Uluṟu-Kata Tjuṯa Walks).

Changes to the guests walk departure date, or transfer of booking to a different walk may incur additional costs payable
