Big Day Out in Harmony is Alice Springs's largest multicultural community event of the year celebrating multiculturalism, harmony and inclusion with a day of dance, music, food and cultural activities. Multicultural Community Services has been running a multicultural event for just under 20 years, firstly as a Harmony Day event, to growing into its own brand and name of Big Day Out in Harmony.

Since its early beginnings, Big Day Out in Harmony developed into the largest multicultural event of the year in Alice Springs and is a vibrant celebration of the many cultures of Alice Springs with dance, performances, food as well as a range of activities for kids and adults alike to enjoy. The event is organised in collaboration with Alice Springs 16 multicultural associations and partnership with the Alice Springs Town Council as well as local organisations and stakeholders.
