His partner, Darknis (Corinna Hall), is a Ngarrindjera/Kokatha woman from Raukkan, South Australia, and Ceduna.
Their lyrics often involve Aboriginal land rights, social issues and everyday struggles. They have performed at festivals across Australia and have supported well-known artists including Ja Rule, Naughty by Nature and Jessica Mauboy.
