2 Nights accommodation in a standard room at Desert Garden. Rooms are set throughout the gardens of the hotel. Rooms feature two double beds with either a balcony or courtyard area. All rooms have air-conditioning, movies on demand and minibar and bathrobes are provided. Children 12 years old or under stay free using existing bedding. Bonus inclusion of free indigenous guest activities program and return transfer from Ayers Rock Airport.
A peaceful 1 hour camel ride through stunning sand dune country with the awe inspiring back drop of Uluru and Kata Tjuta. Watch as the rising sun lights Uluru and surrounding plains. Enjoy Billy tea and freshly baked beer bread after the ride. Experience the awe as the sun rises over the Field of Lights and in the distance behind Uluru, flooding the landscape with light whilst sipping on tea, coffee or hot chocolate as the first rays of sunlight creep across the desert sky.

Desert Gardens Hotel

Magnificent ghost gums and flowering native shrubs are the setting for this hotel. Desert Gardens Hotel is centrally located to all resort and touring facilities and offers a range of accommodation, from shaded poolside rooms to deluxe rooms overlooking the desert.

You can relax in the comfort of your own private balcony or courtyard, or unwind in the hotel's pool, sipping cocktails from the Bunya bar.

It's only a short stroll to the Resorts' numerous lookouts, where you can view what is arguably Australia's best sunset, with the spectacular play of colours across the face of Uluru and the surrounding desert.

Once the sun has set, dine at Arnguli Grill and savour an a la carte flame grilled menu.
Visit the Resort Visitor Information Centre to look a wide range of guided tours (fees apply) and organise your journey into the homeland of Anangu (the local Aboriginal people). You can embark on a base walk of Uluru (Ayers Rock). Hike through the Valley of the Winds at Kata Tjuta (the Olgas), take a ride on a Harley Davidson, or take a birds-eye view in a helicopter.

By night, some tours include dining under a canopy of stars accompanied by the ancient sounds of a lone didgeridoo at the award-winning Sounds of Silence dinner. Or indulge yourself in 'Tali Wiru', meaning beautiful dune in local Anangu language, encapsulates the magic of fine dining under the southern desert sky.

Confirmations Cancellations and Amendments:

• Amendments made to bookings with more than 24 hours’ notice are free of charge.

• Full refund – if we have been given more than 24 hour’s notice for the cancelled tour (a full 24 hours prior to tour pick up time).

• No refund will be provided for cancellations made within 24 hours of tour pickup time. • Refunds will not be issued to passengers who are considered ‘no shows’.

• Extenuating circumstances requiring tour refunds will be assessed on a case by case basis.

Child Rates and Conditions:

• Child fares do not apply to tours provided by Uluru Camel Tours. All rates quoted are per person.

• Children under 5 years of age are not permitted to ride our camels.

• Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by a paying adult.

Weight Guideline – 100kg (220lbs/15st7lb):

• Whilst touring with Uluru Camel Tours two passengers travel per camel and Uluru Camel Tours must be advised if any individual’s weight exceeds 100kg. Suitability to ride on the day is ultimately the cameleer’s decision. The cameleer’s discretion must be respected at all times in the interest of the welfare of our camels and the comfort and safety of our guests.
