Tjungu Festival

Details

The Tjunga Festival, pronounced tjoo-ngoo (meaning "meeting together" in local Anangu language), is a celebration of the best of Australian Indigenous culture.

In its fourth year, it is a four and a half day, family-friendly, Indigenous cultural festival that showcases a lively program that features everything, from; culture to film and art, sport, music, food and fashion.

2018 will see some of the most popular artists and ambassadors back by popular demand. These personalities will be joined by a host of emerging and established Indigenous performers, sporting heroes and artists, with an even bigger focus on local performers from Anangu country and the surrounding lands.

Ayers Rock Resort will be humming with activity from sunrise to sunset and beyond.
