Standley Chasm Angkerle Camping

Description

Located approximately 40 minutes west of Alice Springs via sealed road, Standley Chasm offers towering red rock walls, native plants, birdwatching and photography opportunities. Follow the walking trail to the chasm and take time to enjoy the surrounding landscape.
Stay overnight in our peaceful, nature-based campground and enjoy more time exploring the Red Centre. During opening hours, visit our café for barista-made coffee and a meal, or browse the gift shop for a souvenir of your visit.

Unpowered camping is $25.50 per person, per night, including entry to Standley Chasm during your stay. Grassed areas are available for tents and swags, with sites also suitable for vehicles, camper trailers and caravans.

•Toilets and hot showers
•Complimentary washing machine
•Camp kitchen
•BBQ area with outdoor sink facilities

Our campground is a simple, nature-based camping area. Guests should arrive prepared and bring sufficient drinking water. There is NO potable water refill service or caravan water and wastewater connections.

Arrival and visitor information

•Monday to Saturday: 8am–5pm; last chasm entry at 4.30pm.
•Sunday: 8am–2pm; last chasm entry at 1.30pm.
•Public holiday hours may vary.
•Please arrive during opening hours. The main gates are locked after closing, and vehicle access is unavailable.
•No pets or alcohol are permitted.
•Please respect the cultural significance of the site, stay on designated paths and leave the natural environment undisturbed.
