Sails in the Desert hotel features an expansive gum tree lined, swimming pool and a diversity of modern dining, bar and lounge options. Awaken taste buds with Mayu's signature dining experience, relax and feast in the brasserie-style Ilkari Restaurant or let time tick by enjoying cocktails, music and culinary temptations in the Walpa Lobby Bar. PLEASE NOTE The swimming pool at the hotel will be closed from 28 January – 31 March 2022 for important maintenance work. There will be minimal disruption for in-house guests and site screening will be around the pool area. Guests can use the pool at adjoining Desert Gardens Hotel for the duration of these works.

Voyages Ayers Rock Resort is located at the gateway to the World Heritage listed Uluru - Kata Tjuta National Park, just 6km from Ayers Rock Airport.

Ayers Rock Airport (Uluru, Connellan Airport) is less than 15 minutes’ drive from the resort, and free return airport transfers are available from Ayers Rock Airport only. Please note that Ayers Rock is a 1 hour flight or a 4.5 hour drive (450kms) from Alice Spring Airport.

Ayers Rock Airport:
Both Jetstar and Virgin Australia fly directly into Ayers Rock Airport from Sydney, Virgin Australia flies daily and Jetstar operates 4 flights per week (Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday). Qantas operates daily flights to Ayers Rock Airport via Alice Springs from Sydney. Qantas also offers direct flights from Cairns and Alice Springs.

Fly direct from Sydney, Cairns and Alice Springs to Ayers Rock Airport. Flights from Brisbane and Melbourne connect through Sydney to Ayers Rock Airport. Flights from Darwin and Adelaide connect from Sydney or Alice Springs through to Ayers Rock Airport. As an alternative, discover the Red Centre with a fly-drive itinerary. Tiger Airways and Qantas offer direct flights to Alice Springs from both Sydney and Melbourne.

Airport Transfers:
Complimentary return coach transfers from Ayers Rock Airport to Voyages Ayers Rock Resort meet every scheduled flight. The return transfer to Ayers Rock Airport collects you from your hotel approximately 2 hours prior to flight departure, please check with reception for exact time.

Self-Drive:
There is no better way to explore Central Australia than at your own pace. Pre-booking of hire cars is recommended.

Coach Transfers :
Coach transfers are available and operate services between Alice Springs, Kings Canyon, and Uluru. Coach bookings can be made through Voyages.
