Description

Battery Hill is located on Peko Road1.5 Km east of the Tennant Creek town centre . Our Centre overlooks the town, the surrounding countryside and is the site of the No. 3 Government Gold Stamp Battery, where it all started with the 1930's outback gold rush. Our underground Mine and Stamp Battery are currently not available - but we hope to resume soon.
A ticket will allow you to wander through the three museums, Freedom, Fortitude and Flies, - a look at daily life on the goldfields during the early formative years.
The Borella ANZAC Story follows Albert Borella from Tennant Creek to the battlefields of Gallipoli and France. Read his story, sight his Victoria Cross Learn more of the ANZAC story.
The McLaughlin Minerals Collection is a spectacular array of mineral samples from around the world, Australia and local.

Tickets are non-refundable. Tickets are valid for one day only. Extensions and Transfers can be negotiated with VIC Staff.
