Nestled in the West MacDonnell Ranges the area has impressive botanical appeal, bird-watching, wildlife viewing and photography opportunities. Description

This beautiful site now provides a backdrop for a gorgeous overnight camping location and authentic cross-cultural presentations, bush-tucker tours, art workshops & language classes. Join one of our exclusive cultural tours during your visit, to gain a deeper understanding and appreciation for this stunning natural site and the ancient culture connected to it. Local artists also hand-paint Aboriginal crafts on site, including boomerangs, which are available to purchase in the souvenir shop at workshop prices.

We also have swags for hire, so you can enjoy the comfort and peace of sleeping beneath the dazzling Central Australian night skies. Come and unwind, sit back and relax and allow us to fully cater your stay with our CAMPER-PAMPER catering package.

The clean and well maintained amenities, shower facilities with solar hot water, FREE laundry & gas BBQs, makes Standley Chasm Angkerle a great place for an extra day of rest and recovery for Larapinta Trail trekkers.
