TCA Special General Meeting

Thursday 28th May

Notice of Special General Meeting

The board of TCA is proposing an update to the TCA constitution. For this to occur, a special general meeting must be called advising members of the proposed changed and an opportunity at the special meeting to discuss and approve or reject the proposed change.

View the proposed changes
From time to time the board may need to seek specialist skills to assist the board and association.  For example: If the Board through the AGM nomination and voting process did not have the skills for a qualified treasurer, it allows the board to seek these skills to ensure good governance for the association.

The definition for Appointed Board Member means the members of the board appointed from time to time by the Board, for such terms not exceeding 2 years, who are not members of the association and have special skills that the board believes are advantageous to the Association and its objects.
The intent of the association would be to strongly encourage the non-member to become a member upon appointment to the Board.
