Imparja Cup

1 - 8 February

The Imparja Cup & National Indigenous Cricket Championships brings more than 700 Indigenous cricketers to Alice Springs each year in early February. The tournament is a celebration of cricket, country and culture, with Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander peoples from across the NT and Australia to play cricket. This annual event presents a unique opportunity to develop a major cultural festival showcasing the world's oldest continuous culture through a celebration of art, dance, and song, in the spiritual heart of the nation. An event celebrating culture and story telling of Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander peoples from across the country, in the spiritual heart of the nation, presents a significant opportunity to drive tourism and economic activity.
