Young Fiddlesticks

For one night only, the 2018 Desert Song Festival is proud to present- 'Young Fiddlesticks'.

This is a specially created Desert Song Festival workshop ensemble under the guidance of 'Q' . Tutored by Mark and Karen Jackson, this ensemble of young string players makes their first appearance at the Desert Song Festival.

Held in a boutique concert in the wonderful acoustic space at the Hartley Street Schoolroom.

The 2018 Desert Song Festival will unite singers, musicians and audiences in this sixth annual celebration of cultural diversity and artistic brilliance, in Central Australia.

Over 10 glorious days (September 7- 16) a myriad of concerts, workshops and masterclasses will present choirs, musicians, small vocal ensembles and solo performers, in a celebration of; the singer, the song, the instrument, the land and its people.
