TCA would like to invite you to the upcoming Annual General Meeting

Date: Thursday 25 November 2021
Venue: Megafauna Central, 21 Todd Street, Alice Springs
Time: 5:00pm for 5:15pm start

The meeting will be followed by TCA’s Member Christmas Function - we know 2021 has been a challenging year for all most all, but if anything please join us to toast the future to hear a major announcement regarding TCA activity in 2022 and to hear the announcement of 2021’s recipient of the Barry Bucholtz Award for Excellence.

At close of nominations on 17 November five (5) nominations were received.  As such an election for the Director roles will not occur at the AGM.    The nominated Board Directors to be ratified at the AGM are:

  • PATRICK BEDFORD – Emu Run Experience
  • JODIE SUMMERS – Charles Darwin University
  • RAELENE OHLSON – Alice Springs Turf Club
  • ALLAN WOO – Airport Development Group (NT Airports)
  • TONY MCFADZEAN – Erldunda Roadhouse and Kings Creek Station

They will join continuing Board Directors:

  • David White – Voyages Indigenous Australia
  • Karl Bajzik – Yuba Napa Gallery  
  • Andrea Lehman – Outback Ballooning
  • Mark Swindells – Uluru Segway Tours
  • Stephen Baldwin – Outback Caravan Park

Joining the elected Directors are our four stakeholder Directors – Jill Catchlove (Parks and Wildlife), John Di Maria (DITT), Mayor Matt Paterson (Alice Springs Town Council) and Mayor Jeffery McLaughlin (Barkly Regional Council).

No nominations have been received by the close of nominations for Honorary Life Member of Tourism Central Australia.
