Description

Kunawarritji is a small indigenous community, 750km east of Port Headland and 1200km west of Alice Springs.

At the 'crossroads on the Canning' where the Canning Stock Route (north/south) meets the Gary Junction Road (east/west), we are just 4km from Well 33 - the original well site and bush campground.

With a functioning windmill, cool clean fresh water from deep underground, there is a bush toilet and plenty of space for travellers weary from the gruelling Canning challenge.

In town we have a 16 room motel complex, 8 rooms with en-suites and basic cooking facilities (toaster, kettle, microwave) and 8 rooms with toilet/shower block and full kitchen option. All rooms have air-conditioning and TVs.

We also have a well stocked store and plenty of fuel.
